All four Solar Atmospheres facilities (Souderton, Pa.; Hermitage, Pa.; Fontana, Calif.; and Greenville, S.C.) recently obtained certifications to AS9100 Revision D and ISO 9001:2015. Solar has held AS and ISO quality management systems registration certificates since 2001.
Super Systems Inc. (SSi) received ISO9001:2015 registration for manufacturing, calibration and servicing of sensors, analyzers, control systems and SSI product support services used in heat-treating organizations. In addition, SSi received its ISO/IEC17025:2005 calibration accreditation while expanding their scope of accreditation.
ISO 9001 is used by millions of people and organizations around the world. The upcoming 2015 revision will have a big impact on those who work with the standard, many of whom are MTI members.
