Delta H Technologies will invest more than $300,000 in equipment and add 11 new jobs at its facility in Carroll, Ohio. Delta H Technologies manufactures industrial furnaces and heat-treatment ovens for the aerospace industry. The 11 new jobs will double the company’s current workforce. Fairfield County provided a $20,000 Workforce Development Training Grant to help with new-employee training, and JobsOhio provided a $50,000 performance grant toward the purchase of new machinery.

Canadian commercial heat treater Thermetco expanded its heat-treatment production capability with the purchase of an AFC-Holcroft UBQ (universal batch quench) furnace and a UBT (universal batch temper) furnace. The equipment, which was delivered in the first quarter of 2018, was installed and commissioned at Thermetco’s new manufacturing facility in Chateauguay, Quebec. The furnaces will be used for general heat treating and offer the capability of providing metallurgical processes such as carburizing, carbonitriding, annealing, tempering and stress relieving.
Dowa Thermotech Co. Ltd., a global manufacturer of industrial furnaces and provider of heat-treatment services, will open a new facility in Lee County, N.C. The company will invest $22.5 million in Sanford with plans to serve clients in the automotive and industrial machinery markets. The investment will create 109 jobs.
