Furnaces North America 2018 (FNA 2018), presented by the Metal Treating Institute in partnership with Industrial Heating, is the heat-treating industry’s marquee event every other year.
A lot has changed over the course of nearly three decades, both in the thermal-processing and publishing industries. Through it all, however, Industrial Heating’s annual Buyers Guide – despite some minor tweaks here and there – has remained the same.
There are several noteworthy industry events that are on the horizon. Whether or not you plan on attending these events, it’s important to know what the thermal-processing industry has to offer.
Heat Treat 2017, the biennial show from the ASM Heat Treating Society, starts today and runs through Thursday in Columbus, Ohio. The event will feature an exciting mix of new technology, exhibits, technical programming and networking events geared toward the heat-treating industry. Highlights of the conference and exposition include: three days of face-to-face networking opportunities with approximately 200 heat-treat exhibitors/companies; and more than 125 technical sessions will include the latest research and industry insights, featuring special symposiums on induction heat treating.
To get a hint at just how far 3D printing has come in a short period of time, you need look no further than Rapid, the industry’s preeminent event. When the show was held at Pittsburgh’s David L. Lawrence Convention Center in 2013, it needed only 15,000 square feet of show floor. Just four years later at the same venue, Rapid spanned 70,000 square feet – a nearly fivefold increase in floor space.
The Metal Treating Institute (MTI), media partner Industrial Heating and over 30 sponsors are pleased to announce another record-breaking crowd for the Furnaces North America trade show and conference (FNA 2016).
