New U.S. antidumping and countervailing duty investigations were filed on Oct. 23 by Bonney Forge Corp. and the United Steelworkers against imports of certain forged-steel fittings from India and the Republic of Korea. The merchandise covered by these investigations is carbon and alloy forged-steel fittings, whether unfinished (known as blanks or rough forgings) or finished.
