According to Elon Musk, a newer version of SpaceX’s reusable launch system will be able to carry up to 100 people to the moon, Mars or other destinations in space or around Earth. The rocket, which will stand 387 feet tall, will launch billionaire Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa and a handful of artists on a trip around the moon in the 2020s.

The announcement was made on Sept. 28, which happened to be the 11th anniversary of the first successful orbital launch of SpaceX's first rocket, the Falcon 1. Here's the story.
