India’s Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) has earmarked $6.4 billion to purchase 24 Lockheed Martin Sikorsky MH-60R anti-submarine warfare helicopters.
Germany planned a $4.7 billion purchase of heavy-lift helicopters, but the approval has been delayed. The German military is scheduled to receive 45-60 of these helicopters in the coming decade.
