StandardAero Component Services dedicated a 30,000-square-foot expansion of its component repair facility in Miami, Fla. The additional working space and capital improvements included the installation of a vacuum furnace, state-of-the-art clean line and water-jet cleaning capabilities. According to StandardAero, the facility will now be the largest provider of aerospace and aerospace-derivative combustor overhauls in North America and the second largest in the world.
The Miami location expansion complements StandardAero’s recent building expansion at its Cincinnati, Ohio, facility. The company is still proceeding with a 30,000-square-foot expansion at its Hillsboro, Ohio, facility, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
StandardAero offers a full range of repair and overhaul capabilities using special processes developed at its facilities to solve complex problems. These process include heat treatment, NDT and inspection, and welding and brazing.
