Pocono Mountains Forge is the brainchild of husband and wife Bill and Jenny. The duo combines their efforts to hand-forge knives that feature dried flowers and leaves enclosed inside the handles.

The blacksmiths heat the metal – 1084 high-carbon steel – before hammering and shaping it into various blade shapes by hand. Each handle is designed by the customer, who can pick from a selection of pressed flowers and leaves. Each knife is also completely food-safe and comes with a hand-sewn leather sheath.

Here's the story.
