Ferrous Scrap as Raw Material for Steel Production

According to the World Steel Association, ferrous scrap will increasingly replace natural resources as the main raw material to produce steel. Why? It is mainly because of ferrous scrap’s increasing global availability and the increasing usage of electric-arc furnaces for steel production.
