Steel Industry Could Benefit Greatly from Recycling

Recycled steel is going to play a big part in the industry moving forward. Greensteel, a brand owned by GFG Alliance, plans to recycle scrap steel using electric-arc furnaces powered by renewable energy. Liberty House and Simec, companies of GFG, have both developed plans to build 5 million metric tons of Greensteel production capacity in the next five years.
