Airbus’ A350-1000, the longest-fuselage version of the company’s A350 XWB jetliner, received its airworthiness Type Certificate approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in late 2017. These certifications paved the way for the delivery of the first A350-1000 wide-body airliner last month to Qatar Airways in Toulouse, France. It is the first of 37 A350-1000s ordered by the carrier.
