Virgin Galactic Inches Closer to Space Tourism

The VSS Unity spaceplane successfully completed its seventh high-speed glide flight. This trip – which accelerated to Mach 0.9 – tested transonic flight performance, stability and control at California’s Mojave Air and Space Port. What does it all mean? Well, this moves Virgin Galactic another step closer to its goal – sending tourists into space.
