Milwaukee Tool, with a planned investment of $32 million, is proposing another major expansion at its product development center in Brookfield, Wis. A 114,500-square-foot building would be built on an existing 3.5-acre lot, bringing the company’s global headquarter space from 190,000 square feet originally to a total of 504,500 square feet. This expansion would lead to the creation of 350 new jobs in the next five years.

Milwaukee Tool, which manufactures products for the construction industry, is exploring other options for the needed office space to facilitate its continued growth but prefers to keep all of its product research, design and development within the campus.
