Aluminum Fraud

Perfectus Aluminum, with warehouses in California, allegedly attempted to avoid paying about $1.5 billion in tariffs by disguising imported aluminum. The company made 2 million pallets out of Chinese aluminum and imported the pallets to the U.S. as “finished goods,” thereby skirting the tariffs.
