Robots Aiding Steelmaker

Steel of West Virginia has installed a new generation of sophisticated robots designed to assist in the production of truck-trailer cross members. The robots are used to move the cross members on and off a wax coating line. The company, which has used robots for fixed-point welding for years, manufactures millions of cross members each year.
