Several of today’s stories deal with what’s happening in the world of electric (and autonomous) vehicles. Once the only game in town, the upgraded Nissan Leaf will have extended driving range (250 miles) with semi-autonomous features. Tighter global environmental regulations have pushed carmakers into investing heavily in the electric car sector, which has created much competition. The new Leaf will be available in the U.S. in January.
