Tenova, over the last eight months, has been awarded contracts for six electric-arc furnaces (EAF) in China. In an effort to improve the reduction rate of CO2 emissions promoted by China’s government, steelmakers are converting their facilities to EAF technology. Tenova’s Consteel Evolution system continuously preheats and feeds metallic charge to the EAF while simultaneously controlling gaseous emissions.

The awarding of these contracts proves the advantages of Tenova’s technology, which continuously preheats and feeds metallic charge to the EAF while simultaneously controlling gaseous emissions.
