Improving the Adoption of New Products in the Marketplace
Carnegie Mellon University Mechanical Engineering and Engineering & Public Policy Assistant Professor Katie Whitefoot discusses her work on improving the adoption of new products and technologies by the marketplace, particularly for innovations that improve energy efficiency or productivity. Whitefoot explains the three major areas her work focuses on, along with the areas her team is currently working on in both the aircraft and automotive industries.
