HiE-Coat 840-CM can be used to improve the emissivity of refractory and metal substrates for oven and furnace applications up to 2500°F (1371°C). The high-temperature, black-body coating has been formulated specifically for refractory and metal surfaces and is applied easily using a sponge brush, roller or conventional spray equipment. Curing is accomplished in operation or by heating for one to two hours at 200°F plus one hour at 500°F. HiE-Coat 840-CM has no odor, cleans up easily with water and contains no volatile organic compounds.
