Toyota, Mazda Alliance to Invest $1.6 Billion in U.S.

Toyota and Mazda will explore establishing a joint-venture plant in the U.S. that would have an estimated annual production capacity of 300,000 units. The facility, which would start operations in 2021, would require an investment of around $1.6 billion and create up to 4,000 jobs.
