Park Thermal International received an order from Héroux-Devtek to supply and install an aluminum quick-quench furnace system in accordance with AMS 2750. The system consists of an electrically heated recirculating furnace with ±5°F temperature uniformity and a quench system with a transfer mechanism capable of moving components from the furnace to below the liquid level in less than 7 seconds. The entire system will be controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC).
