Drone Retrieval System Developed

A system to launch and retrieve large drones midair has been developed by DARPA and Aurora Flight Sciences. The system is portable and can mount on a variety of military vehicles. The system was tested on a 400-pound drone in December, but it can actually handle aircraft weighing 1,100 pounds.
