Hyundai-Kia Spending Up

Increasing their spending 50% over the previous five-year period, South Korea’s two largest automakers said they plan to spend $3.1 billion in the U.S. over the next five years. A new U.S. factory is being considered, and they may domestically produce Hyundai Motor’s upscale Genesis vehicles and a U.S.-specific SUV.
