The HiPace 300 H turbopump is designed for applications in research, analytics and industry that require reliable, high or ultrahigh vacuum. The high compression ratio of 107 for hydrogen generates a low residual gas spectrum in the chamber that is desirable for mass spectrometric applications, particle accelerators and other applications. The pump, which comes in a radiation-resistant version with external electronics as an option, has a very high backing pressure compatibility of 30 mbar. This helps the pump achieve ultrahigh vacuum when operating with high backing pressure in combination with diaphragm pumps.
