Norsk Titanium US Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining a strategic relationship with Clarkson University of Potsdam, N.Y. Under the terms of the agreement, Norsk Titanium and Clarkson University will join forces to develop new research projects relating to advanced metal additive manufacturing through Norsk’s proprietary rapid plasma deposition (RPD) process, create education programs to prepare Clarkson graduates for careers in additive manufacturing, launch workforce training programs in support of Norsk’s Plattsburgh, N.Y., production facility, and execute technology demonstration and transfer opportunities together.
