Arcam AB announced that its powder-manufacturing subsidiary, AP&C of Montreal, started to build its second powder plant in Saint-Eustache, Quebec. AP&C, which specializes in plasma-atomized metal powders for additive manufacturing, plans to invest approximately $23 million in its second powder facility. The project will create 106 new jobs over the next three years. The facility will provide superior-quality powders to meet the manufacturing standards of the aerospace and medical industries. It will also significantly increase AP&C’s production capacity.
