Remix S.A. commissioned a gas-fired rotary-hearth furnace to a forging manufacturer in Poland. The furnace, which will be used for preheating aircraft titanium alloys before die forging, has a rated capacity 4,500 kg/hour and an operating temperature of 1300°C (2372°F). High-efficiency recuperative burners are used in the heating system. The furnace complies with the requirements of AMS 2750E. Poland’s Remix has been manufacturing heat-treatment equipment since 1990 and has been an exclusive partner of AFC-Holcroft in the European market since 2012.
