Danieli Olivotto Ferrè received an order from Cemtas Celic for the engineering and supply of a new heat-treating line to be installed in Bursa, Turkey. It will be used to harden, temper and normalize annealed bars. The line consists of one austenitizing furnace to be used for hardening and normalizing; one roller-hearth batch furnace to be used for annealing; a spray quench system operating with water and water polymer; one tempering furnace; and loading, transferring and unloading tables. Start-up is scheduled for December 2016. Cemtas Celic is the second-largest producer of alloyed steel bars in Turkey and has its own steel production and rolling capabilities in Bursa.
