The Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) will host its 47th Combustion Seminar, Safety Standards Seminar and the revised Induction Seminar Sept. 19-20 at the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter in Covington, Ky. The concurrent seminars will include a joint tabletop exhibition Monday, Sept. 19. The exhibition features companies from all the technologies represented throughout the three seminars. Seminar attendees will have the opportunity to speak with company representatives and learn more about the products and services discussed in the classroom environment throughout the day.
IHEA’s Annual Combustion Seminar is designed to provide current and relevant information for those responsible for the operation, design, selection and/or maintenance of fuel-fired industrial process furnaces and ovens. The two-day class consists of 18 sessions led by knowledgeable speakers from IHEA member companies.
The Safety Standards Seminar provides critical safety information for those involved with the design, manufacture, service or operation of ovens, furnaces, kilns, dryers and thermal oxidizers. Speakers will highlight and discuss changes in the NFPA 86 standard that was released in the fall of 2015. Attendees will learn how these important changes to the NFPA 86 standard can affect their operation.
The Induction Seminar covers the basics of induction technology; equipment needed for an induction operation; induction processes, applications and markets; advantages of induction for improving plant operations; and what is needed to set up an induction operation.
