Sinterite, a Gasbarre Furnace Group Company, installed a custom pusher furnace at a company in Pennsylvania. The manually operated furnace is designed for continuous sintering of various material-grade parts. It consists of two heat control zones and one cooling zone with a maximum operating temperature of 1800°F (982°C). The furnace is unique because of the low operating temperature. Typically, these types of furnaces are designed to operate up to 3000°F (1649°C). This furnace was customized to meet the processing needs of the company’s specialized sintering process.
