Viking Blast & Wash Systems
MR 7260 has a 60-inch-wide x 72-inch-high blast zone. The blast wheels are arranged to expose all surfaces of the work, and the parts are presented to the blast wheels with a customer-provided monorail conveyor. Parts pass through 12 15-HP direct-drive blast wheels that deliver high-volume abrasive at 295 feet per second to clean the parts. The unit is controlled by a PLC that is integrated with the conveyor and allows for modifying blast zones to accommodate a wide range of parts.
