J.L. Becker, a Gasbarre Furnace Group Company shipped a 36- x 48- x 36-inch dual-solution, dual-chamber, multi-stage washer to a major drive-technology supplier in the U.S. The washer is designed to remove quench oil, machine lubricants and other contaminants from parts that are tightly racked into workloads weighing up to 4,000 pounds. Dunking, oscillating and spraying sequences are employed in the first chamber using the first wash solution. Loads are transferred by a dog-and-chain transfer assembly to the second chamber, where a second solution is used to remove any residual contaminants.

Prior to exiting the washer, workloads are dried using a heated-air drying system that incorporates two fans, dampers and heater assemblies. The washer includes an industrial PC, 19-inch operator interface touchscreen and redundant sensors.
