3D MakerJet Inc. of Orlando, Fla., will introduce a wire-feed powderless metal 3D printer to the market later this year. Powderless metal 3D printing allows for components to be made rapidly and affordably with strength and durability. The process can resolve issues like equipment failure quickly and inexpensively, and operations could have access to a digital parts library featuring any piece required for production. Powderless metal 3D printing behaves much like traditional welding and allows better efficiency of material usage. 3D MakerJet is exploring the printer’s industrial applications.
