Aerospace Testing & Pyrometry successfully completed the initial accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.” The scope of accreditation includes calibration of process instrumentation, temperature uniformity surveys and system accuracy testing in accordance with AMS 2750E.

Andrew Bassett, president of Aerospace Testing & Pyrometry, said, “It has been a priority to become accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Writing and implementing new procedures, training and investment in equipment all contributed to successfully attaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.”

Laboratory Accreditation Bureau, a division of A-S-B, conducted the three-day initial audit in December 2015. After addressing the corrective actions, Aerospace Testing & Pyrometry was accredited effective March 4.
