Chinese automotive aluminum wheel manufacturer CITIC Dicastal placed an order with StrikoWestofen Asia (Taicang) for three melting furnaces. The equipment, which will be delivered in summer 2016, will be installed at CITIC Dicastal’s new project in Michigan and represents the first StrikoWestofen systems manufactured in China to be taken into operation in the U.S. this year. The StrikoMelters offer efficient use of energy, minimal metal loss and low emission values. They also provide the option of independently recycling aluminum chips, which additionally provides for maximum metal yield.
