Solar Manufacturing announced the appointment of John Oakes as its new sales representative for the northeast region. He will focus on vacuum furnace sales in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. Oakes recently became the owner of the Edward A. Boll Company Inc., a sales organization that has been supplying quality products to the thermal-processing industry for over 30 years.
