Datapaq supplied and commissioned a real-time, radio telemetry, temperature profiling solution for monitoring coating curing ovens 24/7 in the paint shop of a leading U.S. automotive manufacturer. Employing a thermal barrier and data logger, the Autopaq RF system passes through the paint curing ovens daily to provide instantaneous temperature profile data. The system only needs to be reset once per week, which has eliminated the regular work interruptions resulting from traditional profiling and increased thermocouple service life. With profile results provided immediately, corrective action can be taken quickly when needed.
