Rolled Alloys announced expanded processing capabilities at its 80,000-square-foot service center in Houston, Texas. The addition of a new Kasto BBS automated plate saw complements the company’s existing plate saws and expanded inventory and grades. The new plate saw can automatically process all stocked thicknesses up to 279 inches long with no heat affected zone and improved lead times. Rolled Alloys’ Houston facility offers a variety of processing options, including water jet, shear, plasma and band-saw cutting.

In other news, Rolled Alloys Canada launched a new full-function e-commerce website. The new website combines the functionality of e-commerce quoting and buying with comprehensive information to serve as a one-stop resource for the metals industry.
