Nutec Bickley will supply a bell-type annealing furnace to a toolmaking company for the fabrication of steel wire. The furnace will be designed to process a total of 9 tons of wire per cycle and will be equipped with a total of four high-velocity burners. The project is part of a new expansion for the toolmaker. The furnace is scheduled to start production during the first quarter of 2016.

In other news, Nutec Bickley sold two static gas-fired aluminum holding furnaces to a manufacturer of cylinder heads and engine blocks. The furnaces, which have a capacity of 4.5 tons apiece, are equipped with a single flat flame burner on the top (roof) and two open wells (one for loading molten metal, the other for a robot to feed the casting machine).
