Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) was successfully audited and approved for continued accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025-2005. The scope of LTI’s A2LA accreditation was also expanded for mechanical testing and calibration services. Bore micrometers were added to the calibration certificate. The expanded mechanical testing certificate now includes: axial fatigue, fatigue crack growth, creep rupture and double shear.

A2LA is an internationally recognized standard for competence of testing in the industry. All three of LTI’s A2LA accreditation certificates, Mechanical Testing (including Metallographic Evaluation and Dimensional Testing), Chemical Testing and Calibration are valid until March 31, 2017. LTI first received A2LA accreditation in 1989 and has continued to expand the scope of accredited services over the past 25 years.
