Nutec plans to hire 61 workers as it establishes a $19.2 million industrial insulation manufacturing plant in Huntersville, N.C. Monterrey, Mexico-based Nutec will build a 62,500-square-foot building to house the operation, which will make insulation materials for heat-treating processes and for the petrochemical, ceramic, glass and power-generation industries. According to Nutec, which has operations in 50 countries, the North Carolina facility allows the company to be closer to its U.S. customers.
