Warren Steel Holdings (WSH), a leading producer and global supplier of high-quality carbon and alloy steel continuously cast products, installed and successfully tested new electromagnetic stirring (EMS) capabilities at its on-site caster. With the completion of this EMS upgrade, WSH’s caster will now be able to homogenize the centerline and improve segregation in the production process, allowing the company to deliver a superior-quality product. The upgrade will also diversify WSH’s offerings and open up a variety of new end-market opportunities.
