Belgium’s Materialise recently revealed a new 3D-printable material at RapidPro. AlSi10Mg is an aluminum alloy that can be used for prototyping as well as for end-use production parts. The alloy has superior qualities when compared to plastic and even other metals. It has been used for casting of parts with complicated geometries and thin walls.
