Aichelin USA received an order from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) for a ferritic nitrocarburizing (FNC) furnace. The furnace will be added to an existing cell – it is the tenth FNC furnace – at FCA’s transmission plant in Kokomo, Ind. The system includes: Aichelin’s Flexiclean washer system, pre-oxidizing furnaces, cooling stations, endothermic gas generators, and one dual-directional loading cart with automated loading and unloading stations.
