GE Oil & Gas plan to invest more than $50 million in a new advanced manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Fla. The plant, which will manufacture GE’s Mooney regulators and Becker control valves for the energy industry, will incorporate advanced manufacturing processing technologies to promote the innovation of oil and gas products. As a result, GE Oil & Gas will be able to design, test and bring products to market faster. Scheduled to open in November, the facility will create approximately 500 new jobs over the next three years.
