Boron nitride aerosol Lubricoat®-NF is a nonflammable aerosol spray based on the Necosolv™ non-flammable solvent system with new Solstice™ HFO-1234-ze propellant. The useful properties of boron nitride can be achieved with a nonflammable, fast-drying solvent-based aerosol can. Coatings are applied at room temperature and dried, after which they can be used from cryogenic temperatures up to 1000°C (1830°F) in air, 1400°C (2550°F) in vacuum and 1800°C (3272°F) in inert /nitrogen atmospheres. Boron nitride is chemically inert and offers superior release and lubrication. Thin, uniform layers can be readily applied to almost any substrate.
