Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. acquired Aluminium Services UK Limited, the holding company parent of All Metal Services, the world's largest independent raw material service provider to the aerospace and defense industries. In a separate deal, Reliance Steel & Aluminum acquired Northern Illinois Steel Supply Co. (NIS), a value-added distributor and fabricator of a variety of steel and nonferrous metal products, primarily structural steel components and parts. Both companies will operate as wholly owned subsidiaries of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co.
