Granco Clark received an order from Gordon Aluminum Industries Inc. for complete heating and handling equipment for its new press. The scope of supply includes a log furnace and age oven as well as high-pressure spray quench, cut-on-the-fly double puller, high-velocity cooling ducts, stretcher, a complete belt/conveyor system and a fully automated rack-handling system with automatic crane. The 4,500-ton Danieli extrusion press is scheduled to be installed in Gordon’s new building expansion in Schofield, Wis.
