Wisconsin Oven Corp. completed its 30,000-square-foot expansion, which was necessary after record shipments and growth in 2013. The addition is 120 feet wide x 240 feet long x 50 feet high, making it the tallest building in East Troy, Wis. The new facility will be used for manufacturing massive equipment for the automotive, aerospace, mining and energy industries and boasts two 20-ton cranes and two 10-ton cranes. The building – the Strand Plant – is named after President and CEO Dave Strand, who has worked for Wisconsin Oven for 28 years. It will begin manufacturing equipment on Monday.
