Marinite CF is a carbon-reinforced, non-wetting calcium silicate insulating board used for transition plates and billet casting in the aluminum industry. Marinite CF is thermal shock resistant, shows low shrinkage, is easily machined and offers very low absorption. The material also has a very clean surface. Marinite CF will increase the number of drops between changing out a table, which results in less downtime and additional time producing product. Marinite CF transition plates have proven to last considerably longer than comparable products.
